Customer Service Representative @ Dallas (Under Contract)

Position Title:  Customer Service Representative @ Dallas, TX (under contract, 30-hrs/week)
 
Status:             Under contract, 30-hours/week
 
Reports to:      VP of Loan Administration
 
Qualifications:
  • Must be passionate about microfinance and the social mission of Lift Fund to provide credit and service to small businesses
  • Familiarity with multi-line telephone system to manage high call volume
  • Project a positive and professional image
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision to complete loan applications
  • Work with AVP – Loan Administration to ensure proper customer service is being delivered
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency preferred
  • Working knowledge of LiftFund loan products, loan application, policies and procedures
  • High levels of motivation and ability to work independently
  • Experience in general office support practices and procedures
 
Responsibilities:
  • Answer phones, assist customers and employees with various needs in a professional, courteous manner as well as provide Lift Fund’s program information
  • Greet and direct walk-ins warmly and ascertain problem or reason for calling or visit
  • Ability to multi-task (answer phones, create reports, wait and direct customers, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently, with little direction 
  • Professionally handle incoming inquiries from customers and ensure that issues and ensure issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly
  • Route calls accordingly
  • Responsible for compiling and generating reports as required by the VP
  • Maintain office filing and tracking systems
  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer’s experience
  • Order office supplies for various departments and remote offices 
  • Reply promptly to information emails requests, SBA Linc leads, etc.
  • Support Lending Staff
  • Support BDOs by providing walk-ins with contact sheet, loan information, loan application and gathering client financial documentation
  • Ensure customer privacy, security of client documents and appropriate staff access
  • Thoroughly and efficiently gather customer information, access and fulfill Customer needs, educate the customer where applicable and document interactions through CRM
  • Conduct other duties as assigned
