Position Summary

This part-time Intern position is designed to assist the Compliance Department in various data-related work to complete funder and investor reports. A good fit will have an analytical mind, a passion for problem-solving, and a desire to help others.  The position is in San Antonio Texas and is primarily remote.  Some training and meetings may be held at our Headquarters.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating or updating basic Excel reports
  • Assist in extracting data from Power BI as well as other data software
  • Assist in obtaining data from the Finance team to report to external stakeholders
  • Learn our current workflows and systems and assist in process improvement projects
  • Assist in documenting best practices
  • Perform related duties as assigned

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 1-2 years pursuing a degree in a related field or 6-12 months’ work experience with data or finance
  • Intermediate Excel skills (knowledge of pivot tables, and intermediate formulas)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to research solutions to problems
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently

It Would Be Great If You Had

  • Exposure to or experience with MS Office 365
  • Ability to read and interpret financial statements
