This part-time Intern position is designed to assist the Compliance Department in various data-related work to complete funder and investor reports. A good fit will have an analytical mind, a passion for problem-solving, and a desire to help others. The position is in San Antonio Texas and is primarily remote. Some training and meetings may be held at our Headquarters.
Assist in creating or updating basic Excel reports
Assist in extracting data from Power BI as well as other data software
Assist in obtaining data from the Finance team to report to external stakeholders
Learn our current workflows and systems and assist in process improvement projects
Assist in documenting best practices
Perform related duties as assigned
To qualify for the role, you must have
1-2 years pursuing a degree in a related field or 6-12 months’ work experience with data or finance
Intermediate Excel skills (knowledge of pivot tables, and intermediate formulas)
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
Ability to research solutions to problems
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
It Would Be Great If You Had
Exposure to or experience with MS Office 365
Ability to read and interpret financial statements
